Air Jordan and Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design are back collaborating again this season, following up the grail-status Air Jordan 1 from 2014 with two more pairs. This one, the Cadence, is for those off-court days. It’s a newer model from the sportswear label, in contrast to the accompanying AJ3, but it’s a perfect canvas for the Godfather of Streetwear to impart his magic. A neutral grey palette keeps things understated, just as he likes, but the details are refined and elevated. Lightweight textile uppers are overlaid with plush suede and feature Fragment Design’s iconic lightning bolt logo throughout. Comfortable Air cushioning completes the look, in typical Air Jordan fashion.
