Coming in hot from Jordan brand, this Air Jordan 1 is the latest pair offered in the ‘Defiant’ series. Dressed in Mike’s signature Chicago Bulls colourway, this iteration is a nod towards the silhouette’s reputation as the go-to for ‘80s rockstars. In a rebellious act, iconic Swoosh branding is ripped off three sides in reference to the prevalent DIY-fashion culture, with frayed stitching taking its place and joining the stand-alone tour yellow Swoosh on the medial side of the left shoe. The rest of the construction is as expected: premium leather appears throughout, with contrast red stitching accenting and framing each panel, the wings logo and ever-requested Nike Air tongue tab.
